Help for Hope e.V.
Raising money for good cause
In the first lockdown I sewed masks and sold them to raise money for these children. Seeing those kids happy, makes me happy! When I received these pictures I was close to tears. I’m feeling blessed and thankful. Each one of us is important, each one of us can make a difference, each one of us is beautiful inside and out! We all live on this planet together and we all deserve a wonderful and blessed life!
A friend of mine started this organization together with a great team she makes a big difference on this planet and I’m happy to be a little part of it. It fills my heart with joy that her organization is growing so well.

This story is something to think about.
The original version is written by Loren Eiseley and publishes in 1969. It’s a 16-page essay titled “The Star Thrower” . Most people, though, are familiar with a short adaptation like this one:
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said…” I made a difference for that one.”
